We, the members of the Bowling Green Police Department, in partnership with the community and on behalf of the City,
commit ourselves to maintaining order, creating safe and secure neighborhoods and promoting driver safety.

“Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position or prestige. It’s discovered in goodness, humility, service and character.” ~ William Arthur Ward

At the Bowling Green Police Department, CHARACTER is defined by Service, Integrity, and Respect. These traits must be ingrained in the individuals seeking to join the organization because they cannot be taught.
